Job Summary:

We are seeking a Family Based Therapist to provide family-focused services for youth ages 8 to 17 with significant emotional and behavioral problems. Our treatment approach, Systemic Family Therapy (SFT), addresses depression, anxiety, oppositional behavior, abuse, trauma, delinquency, and more. You will collaborate with referral sources, key participants, and other service providers involved with the family as appropriate.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide family-focused services in family's homes or in the community
  • Work a flexible schedule responsive to client needs, including evening hours on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with referral sources, key participants, and other service providers involved with the family
  • Participate in training in the SFT treatment approach and receive mileage reimbursement

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in professional counseling, psychology, social work, or an approved behavioral science
  • On track for clinical licensure through the State of Minnesota
  • Current licensure in the State of Minnesota for independent practice in social work, psychology, professional counseling, or marriage and family therapy (desired)
