About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative school setting, providing mental health therapeutic services to students and their families. As a School-Based Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in ensuring student success by collaborating with school professionals and providing direct therapeutic services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mental health therapeutic services to students and their families in a school setting.
- Collaborate with school professionals to ensure student success and well-being.
- Develop and maintain relationships with school sites and community members to expand and maintain mental health services.
We are seeking a candidate with a master's degree in a human service field and licensure in the State of Minnesota for independent practice in social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy. Alternatively, a Clinical Trainee working towards independent licensure is also eligible.
Preferred QualificationsExperience or a keen interest in developing expertise in a Trauma-Informed, Solution-Focused, brief therapy model of practice is highly desirable. Proficiency in computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office, is essential, with a demonstrated ability to adapt to an electronic health record system.
