Job Description:

L&W Supply is a leading specialty distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing, and other building materials used by commercial and residential contractors. As a trusted partner, we deliver the products and capabilities offered by a national distributor paired with the service and personal touch usually found only in a locally owned business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery Operations: Ensure the safety of each delivery from the moment you leave the facility until you have completed each delivery.
  • Material Handling: Unload and stock building materials on jobsites as directed, physically handling material with a co-worker.
  • Loading and Unloading: Oversee the safe loading of the delivery vehicle to ensure the order is accurate and that the products are of the highest quality possible.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Obey all regulatory agency and company safety directives, as well as traffic laws and weight limits.
  • Site Safety: Supervise and expedite the unloading operation at delivery sites to ensure the safe and accurate delivery of all building materials.
  • Product Distribution: Accurately distribute and place all specified building materials as indicated on the order ticket.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely and effectively operate a boom, crane, or Gradall as needed, based on the specific requirements of the customer.
  • Warehouse Operations: Perform warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials on to or off of trucks or into warehouse as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License: Required for safe operation of delivery vehicles.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shifts, with the ability to consistently lift and carry 250 lbs with assistance.
  • Teamwork: Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
  • Experience: Flatbed truck experience is preferred.
