Job Summary

Branch Civil is seeking an experienced and safety-oriented Multi-Rear Axle Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for transporting construction materials to various job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Construction Materials: Safely transport construction materials, including but not limited to, gravel, sand, and cement, to various job sites.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including oil changes, greasing, and lubrication.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate multi-rear axle trucks, including semi-trailers and trailers, in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience driving multi-rear axle trucks, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and DOT guidelines.
  • Endorsements: Endorsements for tankers and hazmats are a plus.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste and smell. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position which will typically involve 40+ hours a week. Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be available on-call early/late hours to deal with delays, bad weather and emergencies at the job site.
