GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Financial Center Manager (FCM) plays a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring a team dedicated to executing consistent operational practices and ensuring exceptional customer onboarding and relationship management. The FCM actively enhances the financial center's portfolio while delivering outstanding customer service. This position involves providing strategic direction and oversight for sales and service support, daily operations, and staffing requirements to maintain high-quality standards. Each financial center is categorized based on various factors, including household numbers, revenue, and potential growth. The FCM is responsible for the sustainability and expansion of the business, promoting growth through deposits, assets, fee-based services, and the cultivation and retention of both new and existing consumer and business clients.

The Financial Center Manager will engage in a thorough, tailored onboarding and training program. This includes rotations across Operations, Sales & Service, Lending, Small Business, Preferred Banking, and Sales & Operations Management. The role offers a comprehensive learning experience for successful candidates to prepare for the Financial Center Manager position. Upon completing the training program, the FCMA role will transition into a Financial Center.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete the FCMA roadmap as outlined and fulfill all onboarding tasks from the start to program completion, including obtaining a Consultative Selling Skills Certification. Develop proficiency in enhancing Consumer and Small Business customer relationships by delivering a memorable customer experience. Acquire knowledge and maintain a solid understanding of Fifth Third's products, services, processes, and internal resources to effectively guide and lead the team. Master the consultative sales approach to proactively identify the financial needs of current or prospective clients and recommend suitable solutions. Understand how to formulate an integrated business strategy where all customers, across all channels, receive a Financial Needs Assessment (FNA) and are matched with the most suitable banker for ongoing support. Learn to source, develop, mentor, and lead a team that embodies our Core Values and business strategies. Foster a collaborative culture that actively engages with business partners. Participate in initiatives that benefit the communities we serve. Adhere to the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and related policies, exemplifying the ethical behavior expected from all employees. Additional responsibilities as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in providing employees with timely, candid, and constructive feedback; aid in the development of employees to reach their full potential and offer challenging opportunities that promote career growth; recognize and reward employees for their achievements.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

A minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience in a banking center within a sales environment. Ability to represent Fifth Third Bank professionally in both verbal and written communication. Capable of analyzing credit and financial data. Proven ability to successfully execute and coach sales initiatives. Demonstrates strong business acumen. Proven decision-making abilities. This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). The NMLS website provides the MU4R questions and registration.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Standard office environment. Extended periods of viewing computer screens. Occasional travel within the Bancorp footprint for meetings and/or training.
