Orthodontic Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our team at Black Orthodontics. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our orthodontists in delivering top-notch treatment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist orthodontists in preparing patients for procedures, including taking X-rays and creating molds and impressions of patients' teeth.
- Provide chairside assistance during appointments, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
- Maintain accurate records of patients' oral health histories and treatment progress.
- Ensure all orthodontic instruments and equipment are properly sterilized before each use.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; RDA and/or CA certification a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in a dental environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
