Key Responsibilities of a Customer Support Specialist:

  • Work schedule: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Rotating Fridays from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
  • Occasional Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
  • Flexibility required for extended hours based on organizational needs.

Your Role:
In this position, you will enhance the member experience by delivering exceptional service through various communication channels. You will cultivate strong relationships with members, ensuring a first-call resolution approach by actively listening to their needs and providing effective solutions.

  • Assist members via phone with inquiries related to their accounts and provide suitable solutions.
  • Inform members about credit union products and services.
  • Handle basic financial transactions, including transfers, check orders, and loan payments.
  • Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain high-quality member support.
  • Collaborate with other departments or specialized team members to offer comprehensive solutions to members.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a customer service role or relevant professional experience.
  • Possess a pleasant and professional speaking voice.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Ability to engage confidently with a diverse range of individuals.
  • A teachable attitude, a sense of humor, and a positive outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Prior experience in a call center environment.
  • Experience in the financial services sector.
