Cape Fox Shared Services is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to provide high-quality ultrasound services at our Navy facility in Camp Pendleton, CA.


Key Responsibilities:


Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient ultrasound examinations.

Utilize advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality images and provide expert analysis to support patient care.

Core Competencies:

  • Correlate patient history with examination requests and previous diagnostic tests.
  • Consult with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Recognize normal anatomic variants and changes caused by medical procedures.
  • Document patient information and test results according to MTF policy.
  • Perform system warmups, calibrations, and quality control tasks.
  • Identify and report symptoms related to adverse reactions to contrast media.
  • Initiate emergency measures in critical situations.
  • Perform a full range of diagnostic ultrasonic examinations.

Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.

Knowledge of medical imaging principles and practices.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a medical imaging setting.
  • Knowledge of ultrasound technology and principles.
  • Ability to work with diverse patient populations.
