Radiologic Imaging Specialist

Cape Fox Shared Services is seeking a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to provide high-quality diagnostic radiological services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine diagnostic radiological procedures, adhering to radiation safety policies and procedures.
- Send appropriate image series to radiologists for reading according to MTF protocol.
- Correctly position patients for examinations and make technical adjustments as needed.
- Process digital images and submit them for interpretation by radiologists.
- Document procedures and maintain records in accordance with MTF policy.
- Perform system calibrations and quality control tasks according to manufacturer and MTF policy.
- Recognize artifacts and equipment errors, notifying designated personnel of outlying values.
- Initiate repair call procedures for equipment malfunctions.
- Observe and report symptoms that may have a direct bearing on the patient's condition.
- Orient peers and ancillary personnel to unit policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Possess a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience within the last 3 years in a setting corresponding to the requirements.
- Graduation from a program for radiology technologists or completion of an American Medical Association (AMA)-approved training program for Diagnostic Radiology Technologist.
