Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Policy Analyst to join our team As a key member of our Public Policy & Advocacy department, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing policy agendas and strategies that support our mission to partner for healing and a healthy future.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and report on legislative and regulatory issues affecting MultiCare and conduct research on public policy issues related to healthcareProvide research support for business unit projects and synthesize information for various audiencesCommunicate effectively with local and state elected officials, state departments, agencies, coalitions, and other organizations regarding ongoing legislative efforts and prioritiesPrepare written materials, including policy explanations, comments on proposed legislation or regulations, and reports to the boardPresent information about policy and legislation to small and large groups in person or virtually

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, political science, or a related field; minimum 5 years of experience working in healthcare, public health, or government relations environment.
