We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant Lead to join our team at AdventHealth Rocky Mountain. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our front-line staff in clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, and review of medical records and clinical data.
  • Evaluate patients' response and report to the responsible provider to ensure optimal patient outcome.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient plans of care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to determine presence/absence of barriers to active participation in the individualized care plan.
  • Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including vital signs, minor treatments/procedures, prevention services, pre-visit planning, and post-visit follow-up.
  • Actively use and incorporate the use of patient registry into practice to determine ongoing healthcare needs.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year experience preferred
  • Current Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
  • BLS for healthcare providers
