Job Description

We are seeking an experienced electronics circuits design professional to join our team working on advanced electronic modules for next-generation vehicles. The successful candidate will work alongside the Ford Electrical & Electronic HW Technical Specialists and with the design team to create innovative new electrical and electronics systems and products, driving engineering excellence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementation of circuits including schematic and PCB layout
  • Proving out designs using the latest analysis and simulation methods
  • Issue resolution

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study, and 5+ years of experience in electronics circuits design, modeling, and analysis, preferably in a high-reliability industry (automotive, aerospace, medical).

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study
  • 5+ years of experience in electronics circuits design, modeling, and analysis
  • Experience with CAD tools (Mentor Graphics, Cadence Design Systems)
  • Experience with circuit analysis software tools (Mathcad, Spice, Saber)
  • Knowledgeable on microprocessors, solid-state memory, cameras, displays, and sensors
  • Familiar with automotive reliability requirements and component selection for automotive electronics
  • Familiar with automotive EMC requirements and good design practices for EMC robust design

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
