Job Description:

As a Senior Automotive Safety Systems Engineer at Ford, you will be responsible for applying ISO 26262 standards to automotive systems, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create model-based system engineering using MagicDraw. Your experience in software-enabled systems, calibrators, and feature engineers will drive innovative solutions that enhance vehicle safety and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in functional safety engineering, including application of ISO 26262 standard to automotive systems
  • 2 years of experience in engineering software-enabled systems
  • 2 years of experience working with cross-functional teams
  • 2 years of experience creating model-based system engineering using MagicDraw
  • Ability to work from home, but must live within commuting distance of the office in Dearborn, MI
  • Experience may be acquired concurrently
