Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technician - Integration Engineering III Structures (D-Shift) Fri to Sun) to join our team. As a key member of our integration team, you will be responsible for building human-rated orbital launch vehicles. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the quality and safety of our spacecraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures to ensure accurate assembly and integration of spacecraft components.
  • Setup and operate precision calibrated tools, such as torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and optical measuring instruments.
  • Work collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and in person to ensure clear understanding of technical information.
  • Perform repetitive tasks, including lifting items up to 35lbs, and operate material handling equipment as required.
  • Support scheduled work shifts, extended hours, and weekends as needed.
Requirements
  • 10-15 years' experience in manufacturing, structural assembly, and fabrication.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with hand drills, power feed drills, track drills, Jiffy/E-Tech tools, and knowledge of proper drill speeds and feeds for materials being worked.
  • Understanding of hole angularity and importance of quality hole tolerances.
  • Experience drilling through aluminum, titanium, Inconel, composite stacks, and applying sealants, adhesives, paints, and primers.
  • Ability to manage flight and non-flight hardware and pull holes.
  • Industry certification, trade school training, and/or degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrated success as a hands-on doer and/or leader.
