**Job Summary**

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurosurgeon with fellowship training/specialty focus in Complex Spine/Spinal Deformity neurosurgery to join our team as a Complex Spine/Spinal Deformity Surgeon.

**Responsibilities**

  • Clinical: Provide patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with the possibility of providing adult/general neurosurgical services.
  • Teaching: Teach medical students, neurosurgery residents, and fellows.
  • Research: Conduct research and/or clinical trials in an academic setting.
  • Service: Serve on departmental, School of Medicine, and/or University committees as necessary.

**Requirements**

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
  • Eligibility for Virginia medical license
  • Fellowship training in Complex Spine/Spinal Deformity
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Competency in general/adult Neurosurgery

This is a full-time faculty position with a collateral faculty appointment at academic level commensurate per experience.
