Role Overview:
The Customer Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring product excellence by:
- Leading initiatives to detect, address, and eradicate quality-related challenges.
- Collaborating with manufacturing teams to manage and resolve issues related to defective materials returned by clients.
- Initiating and overseeing corrective and preventative quality measures.
- Engaging with customers, sales, and engineering teams to tackle quality concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to customer inquiries regarding product quality.
- Promoting a culture of Continuous Improvement and a Zero-Defect philosophy.
- Evaluating quality issues in partnership with manufacturing departments.
- Enhancing technical knowledge and effectively communicating with clients.
- Identifying and resolving quality challenges.
- Applying LEAN methodologies and Six Sigma principles.
- Conducting failure analyses on returned products.
- Implementing and verifying corrective actions.
- Staying informed about current quality standards.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
