Position Overview

Banco Sabadell is in search of an IT Business Partner to become a vital member of a dynamic team within one of Florida's rapidly expanding banks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the reliability, efficiency, and advancement of IT business systems, particularly the Core Banking system.
  • Provide second-level support for core banking applications and their interfaces.
  • Manage incidents, problems, and changes in alignment with established procedures and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Support projects by taking the lead on assigned responsibilities and delivering necessary technical assistance.
  • Collaborate with product owners and process stakeholders to identify opportunities for enhancing processes and products.
  • Engage with third-party vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of solutions.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures to achieve satisfactory audit results.
  • Analyze organizational business processes to identify inefficiencies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and liaison with business stakeholders, including management, customers, and the IT team.
  • Develop comprehensive Business Requirements, Detailed Functional Specifications, Technical Data Mapping, Process Flows, Use Cases, and Test Plans.
  • Define and execute data mapping based on client requirements.
  • Conduct system and integration testing, document and manage defects, and coordinate resolution and retesting of issues.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in implementing and upgrading business systems and applications, especially the T24 core banking system.
  • In-depth understanding of the entire payments flow within a business is essential, including experience with SWIFT, Fedwire, ACH, FX, and Money Markets. Knowledge of payments reconciliations and investigations is desirable, along with familiarity with ISO20022 and CPBR+.
  • Demonstrated expertise and over 10 years of experience in customizing relevant modules within the T24 Core Banking application, particularly in FT, PI, DE, and RTGS. Exposure to TPH is a plus, and knowledge of IF, Clearing Framework, and IRIS APIs is advantageous.
  • At least 5 years of project management experience successfully delivering technology solutions within a defined Software/Systems development lifecycle.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in client relationship management, with primary responsibility for managing executive-level client relationships across departments. Ideal candidates will have experience in external client management, including expectations, communications, negotiations, and feedback.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
