Job Description

Job Title: Field Marketing Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Field Marketing Specialist to join our team at Enjoy Shift. As a Field Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving product awareness and sales through strategic engagement and product sampling pop-ups alongside our retail partners and at various events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management & Education: Build and maintain strong relationships with retail clients to understand and meet their needs. Train retail staff on our products to enhance their knowledge and ensure compliance, while also scouting for new business opportunities.
  • Merchandising: Use creative merchandising techniques to improve our brand visibility and sales, focusing on strategic placement and engaging pop-ups.
  • Event Planning & Execution: Organize and engage in events ranging from in-store tastings to external events like marathons and music festivals, working closely with teams and partners for flawless execution and promotional support.
  • Market Intelligence: Provide valuable market insights and strategic recommendations to support mutual growth, staying informed on industry trends and consumer preferences.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate strong connections with retail clients, their customers, and internal teams, prioritizing effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Interpersonal Skills: A genuine enjoyment in interacting with people. Highly organized and efficient. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. A positive, team-oriented attitude. Effective problem-solving capabilities. A mindset focused on growth and self-motivation. Goal-oriented, with a keen eye on achieving measurable results.
  • Education and Experience: Nice to have 1+ year previous field/event marketing experience or similar. Nice to have 1+ year previous merchandising experience even if you were going to school. High School Graduate; Significant college degree progress in a marketing field or equivalent professional experience preferred. Knowledge and interest in natural wellness products. Ability to take direction and work proactively. Commitment to learning about customer preferences and working collaboratively to meet those needs.
  • Physical Requirements: Clear communication abilities. Valid driver's license, insurance, and a clean driving record. Ability to drive for extended periods. Capable of lifting up to 30lbs. Comfortable standing for long durations. Physically able to perform tasks requiring movement and flexibility. Minimum age requirement is 21 years.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to update and maintain spreadsheets and projects within tools like Asana. Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving abilities. Exceptional project management and organizational skills. Adept at navigating complex challenges and driving positive change.
