Position: Sustainability Project Manager

Role Overview

As a key player in the Project Management sector at CBRE, you will oversee consulting services tailored to specific markets or client accounts, driving the organization towards its strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

+ Oversee all facets of project management for commercial real estate initiatives, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and project closure.

+ Engage directly with clients to develop comprehensive project elements, encompassing scope of work, resource requirements, cost estimations, work schedules, quality assurance, and risk assessment.

+ Identify and define project delivery resources through established pre-qualification processes, conduct requests for proposals, evaluate bids, and recommend suitable resources to clients.

+ Enforce project documentation governance that aligns with both company and client standards.

+ Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and coordination of project data and documentation.

+ Lead the project delivery team, providing mentorship and guidance to achieve project objectives.

+ Develop plans to meet project goals, budgets, and timelines, while tracking progress and reporting on status and variances.

+ Demonstrate proficiency in identifying project risks and formulating mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

+ Utilize extensive knowledge of standard principles and procedures to tackle complex assignments and deliver innovative solutions.

+ Mentor colleagues and share comprehensive insights into your area of expertise, while maintaining a broad understanding of various job functions.

+ Exemplify leadership by modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE's core values, fostering consensus, and guiding others towards agreement.

+ Influence a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within your team and related departments.

+ Operate within established guidelines and policies, effectively communicating complex or sensitive information.

Qualifications

+ A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, along with 5-8 years of relevant experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Preferred certifications include LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM.

+ A solid understanding of leases, contracts, and construction practices, with the ability to interpret architectural drawings.

+ Strong analytical skills, capable of exercising judgment based on diverse information sources, with an openness to new perspectives on existing solutions.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills combined with a curious mindset.

+ Advanced mathematical skills, with the ability to perform complex calculations related to finance.
