Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Post Surgical IMU to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the nursing care of assigned patients in the Post Surgical IMU unit to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health literacy and self-management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification.
