Care Management Support Assistant

About the Role
The Care Management Support Assistant contributes to the administration of care management, providing non-clinical support to the assessment and evaluation of members' needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state. This role involves guiding members/families toward and facilitating interaction with resources appropriate for the care and wellbeing of members. The Care Management Support Assistant performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments, including computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments, with decisions focused on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
Key Responsibilities
* Provides non-clinical support to the assessment and evaluation of members' needs and requirements
* Guides members/families toward and facilitates interaction with resources appropriate for the care and wellbeing of members
* Performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments
* Computes and performs other related tasks as required
Requirements
* Less than 3 years of technical experience with Microsoft, Word, Excel, Outlook
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Administration support experience in a healthcare industry
* Familiarity with care and well-being resources
* Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
* Associate's Degree
* Microsoft Access proficiency
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8AM - 5PM
