Position Summary: The Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist role offers extensive exposure to operational processes and presents an opportunity to deliver value-added solutions to internal control deficiencies and other effectiveness/efficiency challenges, thereby minimizing overall risk to the organization.

This position is responsible for guiding staff auditors across various functional areas, including operational, financial, human resources, manufacturing, procurement, supplier quality, supply chain management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans to identify potential financial, strategic, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Assess the adequacy of internal controls and ensure compliance with government regulations and internal policies.
  • Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of operations, pinpoint improvement opportunities, and establish implementation targets.
  • Maintain documentation for company incorporation, Board of Directors meetings, resolutions, and contracts.
  • Assist in the formulation of policies, processes, RASICs, and related compliance documentation.
  • Conduct risk assessments through discussions with executive leadership.
  • Support the Compliance Manager in developing the compliance scope to address significant organizational risks.
  • Oversee staff in completing audit fieldwork, focusing on internal control effectiveness and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Document and communicate audit findings to the Compliance Manager.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement corrective actions for identified issues.
  • Utilize process mapping and root-cause analysis techniques to identify contributing factors to process variances.
  • Recommend strategies to enhance internal controls and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, with reasonable notice.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Experience with financial and operational processes in manufacturing settings is preferred.
  • Proficient in working on a computer for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with basic office equipment.
