About the PositionFoursquare is seeking a seasoned Principal Account Manager to join our team in New York City or Chicago. As a key member of our Sales team, you will engage with Advertiser clients, creating, identifying, qualifying, and managing retention and upsell opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Own the commercial relationship with existing clients, partnering with Customer Success to onboard customers and provide ongoing technical management for campaigns.
- Ensure clients achieve their desired future scenarios and positive business outcomes from our Attribution and Targeting suite of products.
- Drive revenue growth by conducting continuous discovery, ensuring customers get value from our offerings, and strategizing with them on how to achieve their business outcomes.
- Run commercial processes for renewals and upsell opportunities based on the account strategy developed in collaboration with Sales and CS, and identify cross-sell opportunities for Sales to engage on.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in a sales role or client management role with commercial responsibilities, ideally at a technology-focused advertising company.
- Experience in negotiating and gaining commitment, with excellent written and verbal communication, discovery, and presentation skills.
- Industry expertise in ad tech, with mastery of the landscape, terminology, and excellence in client services.
