Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fire Alarm Sales Representative to join our team at AI Fire. As a Fire Alarm Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling fire protection products and services to commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Meet all assigned sales quotas in a given period, manage time to complete maximum sales calls and lead generation, follow up on all leads generated through Inside Sales Representatives, and participate in networking events to maximize lead generation.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a systematic approach to the selling process, including writing bid proposals, and have a knowledge of our products, services, and industry codes or an ability to quickly learn and understand them.
  • Account Management: Organize and manage a high volume of accounts, and maintain and grow accounts with existing customers.
  • Communication and Reporting: Write sales reports and track sales through the Company's information systems, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
  • Commercial Sales Experience: Commercial sales experience and a history of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Product Knowledge: A knowledge of our products, services, and industry codes or an ability to quickly learn and understand them.
  • Organizational Skills: An organizational capacity to handle a high volume of accounts.
  • Technical Skills: Competency with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn the Company's information systems applications.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to perform physical activities outlined in the accompanying physical requirements checklist.
  • Professional Qualities: Strong work ethic and professional appearance, and the ability to fit in with our culture of teamwork.
  • Safety and Compliance: The ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Education: At least 2 years of higher education experience or comparable industry experience.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with sales force automation technologies, experience in design or project management, and experience with project budgeting.
