Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Construction Manager to oversee the construction of fire protection systems for industrial and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NFPA codes, design and installation methods, hydraulic calculations, and material lists for fire sprinkler systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all sprinkler construction projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget
  • Manage job cost and project scheduling, including coordination with designers and contractors
  • Work with designers to obtain designs and submit them for approval
  • Follow up and manage permits for projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Report weekly to the General Manager with project updates and progress
  • Assist with management of Sprinkler warehouse and tool inventory, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Assist with coordination of contract job change orders, ensuring minimal disruption to projects
Requirements
  • NICET certification preferred but not required
  • General mechanical knowledge and experience in fire protection installation or design
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of specialty items such as fire pump installation and service, dry and preaction systems, and anti-freeze systems
