We are seeking a skilled Alarm Technician to join our team at Marmic Fire & Safety Co. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, and servicing alarms and other safety equipment in accordance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform technical support and testing on fire detection systems and field devices
- Maintain accurate documentation of tests performed
- Assist in responding to service calls on an on-call basis
- Perform troubleshooting techniques and minor repairs as directed
- Assist in installing new fire life safety systems and wiring techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of AC/DC circuitry and associated low voltage systems preferred
- NICET certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage time wisely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
