About the Role:

The Sales Support Specialist is a crucial position within our Fitech by Deluxe division, responsible for supporting and maintaining existing business customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and create strategies to retain current merchants and foster long-term relationships.
  • Address escalations and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Make informed decisions regarding pricing, refunds, closings, early termination fees, and contract renewals.
  • Collaborate with business customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Perform a range of customer service retention activities to support the current merchant base.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of merchant account retention efforts and service issues.
  • Analyze statements and provide clarification to merchants on various industry-related topics.
  • Quote prices and place rate reviews to aid in retention efforts.
  • Secure and submit completed paperwork, arrange merchant implementation, and provide training.
  • Call on and track merchant issues generated through escalations and surveys.
  • Explain PCI, fees, and gather answers to other industry-related topics.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience; or Associate's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Banking experience.
