Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Dosimetrist PRN to join our team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As a key member of our radiation oncology department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the precise delivery of radiation therapy to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement patient treatment plans using advanced computer software and manual techniques.
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists and medical physicists to ensure accurate dose calculations and delivery.
  • Consult with therapists to assess and improve patient treatments and set-up techniques.
  • Monitor and adhere to general radiation safety guidelines.
  • Participate in clinical research and quality improvement processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree plus Certification as a Medical Dosimetrist by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB) or eligible after completion of JRCERT accredited program in Medical Dosimetry.
