PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

The BCBA will play a crucial role in assisting students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges within inclusive educational settings and specialized programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's Degree Required

Certification as a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst in Massachusetts

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Intensive Autism Programs
  • Design tailored programs for students requiring discrete trials, ABA methodologies, and VBMAPP programming
  • Conduct training sessions for staff involved in Intensive Autism Programs and Focus Programs
  • Facilitate professional development during designated training days
  • Collaborate with general education staff to support students from Intensive Autism Programs included in mainstream classrooms
  • Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans to address challenging behaviors
  • Participate in IEP meetings
  • Lead parent consultation groups
  • Engage in weekly meetings with Intensive Autism Programs and Focus Program staff
  • Assist staff with data collection and analysis
  • Guide staff in skill development for individual students, utilizing data to inform instruction and programming
  • Coordinate with staff to promote successful socialization and inclusion within general education settings
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Special Education or designated representative

SALARY:
