Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to join our team at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. As a Cleaning Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing trash and recyclables.
  • Utilize protective gear and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Ensure that all cleaning and sanitation tasks are completed to the highest standards, adhering to our company's quality guidelines.
  • Respond to the paging system in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and facility guests, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude at all times.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Utilize leadership skills to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Must live in the service area.
