Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT. As a key member of our Cardiac Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of technical procedures, including percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiac/vascular procedures and open surgical procedures under the direct supervision of a physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the performance of technical procedures, including percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiac/vascular procedures and open surgical procedures.
  • Participate in all daily duties necessary to perform high-quality patient care and imaging within the Cath/Diagnostic Imaging Department.
  • Obtain optimal radiographs and assist the physician in an aseptic environment.
  • Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of complex diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular equipment/supplies and assist with their use.
  • Be available for on-call shifts as necessary.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a two-year invasive cardiovascular program.
  • Successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program with emphasis in Cardiovascular training.
  • Applicable training/experience that allowed for obtaining the National RCIS, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, by challenging the RCIS exam through the CCI, Cardiovascular Credentialing International under the CCI OJT (on the job training Pathway).
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire.
  • National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire.
  • Montana Radiologic Technologist AND Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
  • 4 years of Interventional Cardiac, Electrophysiology or Interventional Radiology experience.
