BOX OFFICE SUPERVISOR

RIVAL ENTERTAINMENT

Rival Entertainment is in search of a skilled, enthusiastic, and proactive individual to take on the role of Box Office Supervisor. This position entails managing all aspects of ticketing operations, delivering outstanding customer service, leading a team of box office personnel, and maximizing revenue through strategic sales initiatives and effective inventory oversight.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Box Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for the seamless execution of ticket sales and ensuring a superior customer experience for attendees. Your role is crucial in upholding efficient box office practices and contributing to the overall success of our live performances.

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE:

  1. Overseeing daily box office functions, including ticket sales, will-call services, and addressing guest inquiries.
  2. Leading and managing box office staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  3. Collaborating with talent buyers and production teams to set ticketing guidelines and communicate policies for events.
  4. Maintaining and updating the venue's ticketing system with all confirmed events.
  5. Implementing changes to events promptly as per established procedures.
  6. Ensuring clear communication with all relevant parties regarding ticketing needs for events.
  7. Sharing ticketing information with various departments during weekly meetings.
  8. Keeping accurate records of ticket sales and financial transactions in collaboration with the accounting team.
  9. Managing ticketing software systems to ensure they are current and functional.
  10. Addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Preparing regular reports on ticket sales and attendance for management review.
  12. Working with marketing teams to develop ticketing strategies that enhance sales and customer engagement.
  13. Ensuring compliance with all venue policies and legal requirements related to ticketing.
  14. Continuously evaluating and improving box office processes to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Demonstrated experience in ticketing or box office management within a live entertainment context.
  3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
  4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  5. Proficiency in ticketing software and point-of-sale systems.
  6. Ability to manage workflow effectively and communicate proactively.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  8. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  10. Awareness of industry trends and best practices in ticketing and event management.
