Position SummaryThe Billing and Collections Supervisor is tasked with spearheading the mission of safeguarding our clients, personnel, business operations, and time management. This role encompasses the management and delegation of workloads, overseeing customer onboarding, invoicing processes, and assisting with account resolution to guarantee prompt payments. The Supervisor is also responsible for fostering collaboration across various levels to meet departmental and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee selected members of the Billing and Customer Relations Team to ensure timely and precise invoicing and payment adherence.
- Ensure team members achieve production targets while complying with company standards and fulfilling their essential duties.
- Provide training on systems and processes as needed.
- Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and issues.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with internal management to expedite billing and collection processes.
- Monitor and manage key assigned accounts, addressing daily operational challenges.
- Conduct performance evaluations for team members in accordance with organizational guidelines.
- Execute additional duties and/or special projects as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Familiarity with American Contractor, Prelude, Microsoft Great Plains, and Salesforce software is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen focus on accuracy and detail.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to interact effectively with all levels of management, employees, and clients.
