Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Software Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman Advanced Weapons in Northridge, CA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement secure software architectures and applications
  • Conduct security assessments and continuous monitoring
  • Support analysis, development, implementation, and security assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and architect secured missile weapon systems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering with 14 years of experience, or Master's with 12 years of experience, or PhD with 9 years of experience
  • Minimum 2 years of cumulative experience in cybersecurity/anti-tamper requirements development, security and cyber threat analysis, security systems engineering, or related fields
  • Active secret DoD clearance required with ability to obtain higher Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in STEM
  • Experience working in the defense industry or weapons systems
  • Experience with software version control tools such as Git
Benefits:
