Must Have:
• Conducts evaluation of software systems activities including requirements, design, development, documentation, integration, test, verification.
• Demonstrates expertise in debugging automated test scripts and proficiently identifying and resolving code issues
• Demonstrating capability to develop of both automated and manual testing
• Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives.
Experience in designing and troubleshooting systems combining motors, actuators, sensors, and controllers to manage mechanical operations through electrical inputs.
Experience in developing and managing software embedded in hardware to control machines or devices, including motors, sensors, and other electronic components.
Experience in managing software applications, including user interfaces and data processing programs, that interact with embedded software.
• Having detailed understanding of the hardware and software architecture of mobile devices
• Having experience in maintaining and updating automation scripts to ensure compatibility with the latest versions of the application
• Having in-depth knowledge of testing mobile medical applications on both Android and iOS platforms
• Provides or directs verification and validation of software system requirements, traceability, and testability
• Reviews software systems design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements.

We are seeking a skilled software engineer with expertise in evaluating and developing software systems, including requirements, design, integration, testing, and verification. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in debugging automated test scripts, developing both automated and manual tests, and managing embedded software for controlling mechanical operations via electrical inputs. Experience in maintaining automation scripts, testing mobile medical applications on Android and iOS, and a deep understanding of mobile device architecture is essential. Preferred qualifications include programming skills in LABVIEW, Python, C, and MATLAB
Education Required: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field. Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
Years' Experience Required: 2 years with a Master's degree to 6 years.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools and utilities. Determines systems software design requirements. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures. SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects from design to implementation while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education (typically University). Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Requires a University Degree and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 1.5 years of experience.
