We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team at Westmont Group. As a Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events and functions, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with banquet staff to set up, manage, and break down events
  • Verify staffing levels and adjust schedules as needed
  • Communicate with clients and vendors to ensure seamless event execution
  • Inspect banquet areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Manage banquet checks and reconcile at the end of each day
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in hotel banquet food and beverage service
  • Current Food Handler Card
  • Ability to process paperwork and communicate effectively
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, and guest relations
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis
  • Lifting Thirty (30) pounds maximum
  • Ability to grasp, lift, and/or carry goods weighing a maximum of 100 lbs.
