Job Summary

This role serves as a liaison between patients/family members and staff/employees to promote improved communications, processes, and patient experience. The Patient & Family Representative will work with clinical and non-clinical staff to address patient feedback regarding compliments, complaints, and grievances, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with patients, families, and staff to resolve issues and improve patient experience.
  • Collaborate with process owners to review and correct processes as necessary.
  • Communicate review responses to patients and their families.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Department of Health (DOH).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Communications, Social Services, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in medical, social, or customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred.
