About the Role

This position serves as a liaison between patients/family members and staff/employees to promote improved communications, processes, and patient experience and to reduce the risk of litigation to the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with clinical and non-clinical staff to address patient feedback regarding compliments, complaints, and grievances as defined by regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements from the aforementioned bodies.
  • Share information with process owners for the purpose of review and correction if necessary.
  • Communicate (or coordinate the communication of clinical) review responses to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Communications, Social Services, or a related field required.
  • Five (5) years of experience in medical, social, or customer service required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred.
