Radar Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Radar Systems Engineer to provide system and software engineering, data analysis, and test support to various national radar programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct system and mission performance assessments, including detection, track, and object classification/discrimination performance.
- Perform technical data analysis for engineering problems involving large-scale radar systems, including ground-based and mobile radar platforms.
- Investigate and root-cause analyze system and software performance anomalies.
- Assist with system modernization and architecture studies.
- Provide test support, algorithm prototyping, and simulation services.
- Conduct independent verification and validation (IV&V), algorithm prototyping, and simulation.
- Investigate and mitigate system and software performance anomalies.
- Perform system and mission requirements analysis, feasibility studies, system modernization, and architecture studies.
- Assist with emerging opportunities, such as RFPs, BAAs, SBIRs, and IRADs.
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Math, or Physics required. Master's Degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience.
- Solid understanding of radar system functionality, performance limitations, and mission support requirements.
- Experience with MATLAB required.
- Desirable skills include C/C++, Java, SIMULINK, and Machine Learning.
- Experience with Digital Signal Processing, RF/Microwave Engineering, Antennas, Electromagnetic Fields and Waves, Communications Systems, Probability/Noise & Stochastic Processes, and Microwave Circuits and Networks.
$125,000-$150,000 per year, based on experience, location, and other factors.
