NVOCC Sales and Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven NVOCC Sales and Business Development Manager to drive sales growth, build strong customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities within the Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales leads and business opportunities in the NVOCC market, developing strategies to expand the company's market share in targeted regions and industries.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their logistics needs and providing customized solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth targets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and emerging opportunities, providing insights and recommendations for improving market positioning.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring competitive pricing and favorable terms for the company while meeting client expectations.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Reporting: Monitor sales performance and regularly report progress to senior management, tracking KPIs and adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve targets.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in NVOCC sales, freight forwarding, or logistics.
  • Strong understanding of the NVOCC and international shipping industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in identifying and closing sales opportunities.
  • Experience in developing and executing business development strategies.
  • Strong analytical and market research skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales performance tools.
