We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician II who will be responsible for the upkeep and installation of equipment, troubleshooting machinery, and executing repairs within the facility. This role also encompasses various additional responsibilities as dictated by business requirements, which may include snow removal, grounds upkeep, and general facility maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct machine repairs, electrical work, HVAC tasks, welding, carpentry, plumbing, and machine operation in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Assist in the installation of electrical systems in accordance with National Electrical Code standards, utilizing digital multimeters for voltage and resistance assessments.
- Install plumbing systems and components.
- Perform repairs or fabricate equipment, which may involve the use of stick, MIG, or TIG welding techniques.
- Disassemble and reassemble production machinery and plant equipment to identify and rectify defective components.
Qualifications:
- Negative pressure or PAPR respirator usage is mandatory.
- Availability for on-call duties on a rotating schedule is required.
- Due to the nature of the role, additional personal protective equipment beyond standard requirements may be necessary.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A technical or trade school degree or certification is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic systems, particularly in industrial equipment maintenance, or equivalent demonstrated capability is required.
- 3-5 years of general machining experience, including proficiency with lathes, mills, and welding (MIG, stick, TIG) is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience with process cooling water systems is preferred.
