The Process Improvement Specialist will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining a culture of Continuous Improvement at designated locations. Key focus areas will include: Digital Transformation, Lean Methodologies, Operational Excellence Metrics, Sustainability Initiatives, and Cultural Development. This role will involve leading initiatives without formal authority, engaging with stakeholders from the operational level to the leadership team.

As a Process Improvement Specialist, your contributions will include:

  • Establishing and sustaining Lean management systems on the production floor, encompassing: 5S, visual management, standardized procedures, waste reduction, and ongoing improvement.
  • Engaging in Site annual planning to align with the strategic development goals.
  • Facilitating cross-departmental improvement initiatives (Kaizen, SMED, Root Cause Analysis, etc.) to enhance safety, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality in production processes.
  • Conducting assessments, developing use cases, and collaborating with digitalization teams to identify and implement relevant solutions.
  • Managing site projects within the database to support capital investment through teamwork.

If you possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering or Chemistry.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing sector or a related process-driven industry.
  • A proven track record of recognizing and implementing enhancements in technology, processes, equipment, or organizational structures.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is preferred.
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives (Quality Circles, Kaizen, SMED, Root Cause Analysis) is preferred.
  • Prior experience in implementing digital solutions (IIoT, Industry 4.0, industrial mobility, augmented reality, etc.) and automating business or manufacturing processes is preferred.
  • Experience with ISO 50001 Energy Management or other energy management systems is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% domestically, with local day travel as needed.
