Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Department Manager to join our team at Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific department, ensuring that merchandise is presented in an attractive and appealing manner, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of a specific department, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise displays
Ensure that merchandise is presented in an attractive and appealing manner, including straightening and cleaning the department
Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
Back-up cashiers as needed, providing support during peak periods

Requirements:

1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team
Ability to stand for long periods, with regular breaks
