Job Description

As a Department Supervisor at PPC Partners Inc., you will be responsible for leading the sales effort and managing the day-to-day operations of one or more departments. This includes overseeing safety, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, profits, and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage safety and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Lead the sales effort and continually prospect for new customers.
  • Oversee and coordinate production efforts at various customer locations.
  • Conduct business in accordance with PPC Partners Inc. mission and vision statements.
  • Manage billings and track accounts receivable to ensure positive cash flow.
  • Facilitate process improvement and implement productivity tools to increase field production.
  • Prospect for leads and provide budgets and estimate proposals to achieve minimum growth targets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure high-quality service and repeat sales.
  • Take prompt action to resolve customer complaints and survey customers to achieve high satisfaction ratings.
  • Provide overall leadership to the department and act as a team player.
  • Train and mentor electricians, mechanics, and other department managers as needed.
Requirements:
  • Decisive leader with a passion for hands-on work in outdoor environments.
  • Strong drive for construction project management work.
  • 1-2 years' experience leading workplace safety efforts required.
  • Licensed electrician with 7+ years' experience in the electrical field required.
  • Positive safety attitude and personal integrity.
  • Ability to think conceptually and make decisions quickly.
  • Technical knowledge for the applicable trade.
  • Capabilities to self-start and display solid work ethics.
