Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Visitation Specialist to join our team at Youth and Family Alternatives, Inc. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in supporting the well-being of children and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and document family visits, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  • Communicate effectively with attorneys, courts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and implement visitation plans and schedules for families, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Provide training and support to staff members on skills for working with at-risk clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality services and continuous improvement.
  • Adhere to agency policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and upholding the core values of Youth and Family Alternatives, Inc.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of direct experience working with children and families.
  • A degree in a related field, such as social work or child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Ability to travel statewide on a regular basis, with a valid driver's license.
