About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Structural Engineer to join our team at Pike Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing civil-structural engineering and technical expertise to our Transmission Substation engineering and design teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide civil-structural specific design and direction on complex engineering and technical challenges for projects.
  • Lead discipline-specific work for projects, perform responsible charge engineering duties, and manage project schedules and budgets.
  • Support proposal development, project cost estimating, and business development efforts.
  • Collaborate with senior civil engineers to create best practices, quality assurance, and processes and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a four-year college or university.
  • 5-7 years of experience as an Engineer with the electrical industry in the field of power delivery.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or the ability to be licensed within a year.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
