Key Responsibilities- Investigation and Resolution: Conduct thorough investigations into complex employee relations cases, gathering facts and evidence to determine appropriate actions and outcomes.
- Leadership Support: Provide expert advice and guidance to our leaders, including Directors and General Partners, on highly sensitive and complex employee relations matters.
- Collaboration and Coaching: Work closely with Associate Relations Business Partners to develop their skills and expertise, and provide coaching and guidance on complex cases.
- Training and Development: Assist in the development of new Associate Relations Business Partners through onboarding, training, and coaching.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to the firm, including legal, financial, and reputational risks.
- Communication and Testimony: Communicate findings and recommendations to leaders and associates, and testify on behalf of the firm in legal proceedings.
- Education and Experience: Post-secondary degree or diploma, or bachelor's degree, and 5+ years of experience in HR, with 2+ years in employee relations.
- Skills and Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of Canadian employment law, HR certification, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
