Medication Care Specialist

Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider of senior care services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Medication Care Specialist to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Medication Care Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality medication management services to our residents. This includes administering medications, documenting medication administration, and providing resident care in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents in a safe and organized manner.
- Document medication administration and maintain accurate records.
- Provide resident care and support in accordance with Sunrise Senior Living's Mission and Principles of Service.
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to ensure accurate medication management.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and Individualized Care Plans (ICPs).
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information and adhere to Sunrise Senior Living's policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certifications in medication administration and management preferred.
- Previous experience working with seniors and in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
