We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Safety Nurse Specialist to join our team at BJC Corporate Health Services. This role is responsible for coordinating and facilitating employee injury reduction and employee safety initiatives across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities- Focus on root causes and preventable error to provide guidance, education, and coordination of employee safety initiatives and clinical performance improvement.
- Communicate effectively with team members and leaders to improve employee safety, clinical quality improvement, and workplace violence.
- Perform tasks and duties associated with the Employee Safety and Workplace Violence program, including risk identification, risk assessment, and risk mitigation.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide input and guidance on the continual advancement of the employee safety program and workplace violence initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in occupational health, with 2-5 years of supervisor experience.
- RN licensure and CPI certification within six months.
- Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in occupational health, with 5-10 years of supervisor experience.
- CPI certification.
