Job Summary:

As a Healthcare Services Pharmacist at Walgreens, you will play a critical role in providing clinical services to patients, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, company policies, and procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of pharmacy and healthcare principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical services to patients, including immunizations and MTM interventions.
  • Ensure the use of all elements of the Good Faith Dispensing policy in conjunction with state and federal controlled substance laws when filling prescriptions.
  • Train and educate patients on medication management and other healthcare services offered through Walgreens.
  • Maintain current knowledge and required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations to provide such clinical services.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
